As we continue to serve society, I'd like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our profession. Veterinarians play a vital role in ensuring animal health, welfare, and public health. We're indebted to our predecessors who paved the way, guiding and uplifting our profession.
India, a land of pluralism and diversity, has brought together veterinarians from various backgrounds, cultures, and geographical locations. Our community is a testament to the power of unity and collaboration. Despite our differences, we're united by our passion for animal health and wellness.
From the snow-capped Himalayas to the sun-kissed beaches of Kerala, veterinarians have come together to build a community that transcends geographical boundaries. We've worked tirelessly to advance veterinary care, sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources.
With this spirit of collaboration, I'm thrilled to announce that Bihar will host the 22nd WSAVA Congress India and 15th FSAPAI National Symposium in April 2025. This prestigious event will bring together renowned experts, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and growth.

Dr. Vimal Kumar
Renowned Veterinary Surgeon & Small Animal & Exotics Specialist.
With over 20 years of experience in canine, feline, and exotic animal practice, Dr. Vimal Kumar is a distinguished figure in the Indian veterinary community. A graduate of Assam Agricultural University, Dr. Kumar has established himself as a leading expert in small animal & Exotics medicine and surgery.
Director, Pets Planet Patna
Dr. Kumar is the founding Director of Pets Planet Patna, a state-of-the-art multispecialty veterinary clinic equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment. Under his leadership, the clinic has become a benchmark for excellence in veterinary care in Eastern India.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Kumar has received numerous accolades for his contributions to veterinary medicine. He has attended and presented case studies at various national and international conferences, solidifying his reputation as a thought leader in the profession.
When he is not working he loves to destress himself with cooking and painting.
He also loves to indulge in back pack solo travelling to experience new places.
Dr. Vikash Sharma
Director, Animo Pet Care & Research Centre, Patna
Dr. Vikash Sharma is a highly respected veterinary doctor based in Patna, Bihar. He is the founder of Animo Pet Care & Research Centre, a leading facility dedicated to providing top-quality pet care services. What started in 2006 as a small one-room clinic has now grown into a full-fledged institution under his leadership, with a team of skilled veterinarians, surgeons and support staff.
Driven by a deep sense of compassion and commitment to animal welfare, Dr. Sharma and his team at Animo Pet Care strive to create a world where pets receive the love, respect and medical attention they deserve. Their work goes beyond treatment, they aim to educate and inspire people to be more empathetic toward animals.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Sharma plays an active role in the veterinary community. He serves as the Treasurer of the Pet Practitioners' Association, Bihar (PPAB) and is well-regarded for his contributions to the field.
He is also active on social media, where he shares insights into his work, pet care tips and his passion for veterinary medicine.
Dr. Avinash Kumar
Gold Medalist.
Dr. Avinash is a graduate of Madras Veterinary College. He has 22 years of clinical experience in his hand. Apart from small animals he is well known for his expertise in Equine Medicine. He is a certified orthopaedic surgeon trained by AO vet community and Board Certified Surgeon of ACVS.
Dr. Avinash is a principal member of Symbiotic Patna, an organisation working for welfare of vulnerable stray dogs. Dr. Avinash is the Vice President of PPAB Bihar and affiliated with many organisations such as LAVA, ISACP, ISVS, ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD OF INDIA etc.
Dr. Ghanshyam Kumar
